Proctored Exams

Test Prep Curriculum and Proctored Exams
Taking full-length proctored exams is an essential part of test preparation. The more students are able to practice applying their test prep skills to real exams, and in a timed setting that approximates the test atmosphere, the more natural the testing process will be for them on test day. Additionally, results from completed practice exams help our tutors make the most accurate assessments of our students’ progress. For these reasons, we make proctored exams an integral part of our test prep curriculum.

Our proctored/diagnostic exams are typically held on Saturdays at 9:00am. To schedule your exam, please email us at exams@gecollegeprep.com.

If you’re new to the test prep process and unsure of where to begin, we highly recommend a Test Prep Diagnostic. This includes a proctored exam and a 1.5-hour session with a tutor to break down the results. The tutor will help determine the biggest factors at play in the student's score and provide insight into how much help is needed and in what areas, and therefore how best to move forward.

REMINDER: All packages include free proctored exams*, which are valid for the duration of the package and should be used prior to the package completion. A la carte proctored exams are available for purchase on this page and are intended only for families who are actively working through a package of hours with a tutor.

* If you purchase a Founder's Circle package or a Founder package, you receive UNLIMITED proctored exams. If you purchase a Classic package, you receive 3 proctored exams for every 20 hours purchased, and if you purchase a Classic+ package, you receive 5 proctored exams for every 20 hours purchased.
